The most special feature of Jardine House must be its round glass windows, which are completely dierent from ordinary buildings. The design concept comes from the architect's wife: Why must the windows be square, instead of trying to be round? Built in the 70s, the 52-storey Jardine House was not only the first skyscraper in Hong Kong, but also the tallest building in Asia at that time. With more than 1,700 round windows, it stood silently in the center of Central, witnessing Hong Kong Changes over the past half century.
怡和大廈最特別的必定是有別於一般大樓的圓形玻璃窗，其設計理念 源於建築師妻子的想法：為甚麼窗一定要是方形那麼沉悶，而不可以嘗 試圓形？於七十年代建成，樓高 52 層的怡和大廈除了是香港第一座摩 天大樓，更是當年全亞洲最高建築物，它以其超過 1700 個圓形窗戶默 默守在中環中心，見證着香港半世紀以來的變遷。
